AAA Offering Free Rides Home This Weekend For Intoxicated Holiday Revelers

More than one in five consumers (21%) said they rarely or never use a designated driver while away from home and drinking, according to a recent AAA Consumer Pulse™ Survey.

That’s why AAA and Bud Light strongly encourage motorists to plan ahead before they celebrate Independence Day.

AAA offers a program called, Tow to Go, as a last resort for those who need a safe ride home.

Whether you are a AAA member or not, you can call for a Tow to Go ride anytime this weekend, July 4-6.

AAA will then safely transport you and your vehicle home or somewhere safe within 10 miles.

Since its inception in 1998, Tow to Go has safely removed more than 23,000 intoxicated drivers from the roads.

The service is designed to be used as a last resort. It is offered based on availability of AAA drivers and tow trucks during times of high call volume.

The Auto Club Group Traffic Safety Foundation provides the Tow to Go service because it allows AAA to protect the freedom and mobility of motorists on our roadways.

In Georgia, you can call the Tow to Go anytime toll-free at: (855) 2-TOW-2-GO or (855) 286-9246.
