ADOPTED! A.J. : Beautiful Young Adult Dog Available for Adoption at NE GA Animal Shelter

A.J.was adopted!

He is a beautiful tan and white PitBull mix young adult dog who has been at the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter for far too long.

“A.J. came to us in early January as a 6mo old puppy. So he has lived most of his life here at the shelter.  He’s a beautiful, sweet dog who loves people and gets along great with other dogs,” said Shelter Director Tammi Jourdenais. “He’s just so loving and sweet and desperately needs his forever home. He would be a great addition to any family.”

Jourdenais said despite even taking him to off-site adoption events, he has been passed up time and time again.

“We just don’t understand it. All he needs is a chance to show someone what a great dog he really is,” she said.

A.J. has had all of his shots and his $75 adoption fee covers his neuter.

A.J. is one of many wonderful dogs at the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter needing a loving home.

The shelter on Bear Creek Road is open Tuesday and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11a to 4p.
