7th Movie Shot in Toccoa-Stephens County Premieres in Toccoa Next Month

The MULLIGAN premieres in Toccoa next month

Toccoa-Stephens County has become a popular site for filmmakers and next month the public is invited to the premier of yet another movie filmed on location there last year.

It’s called, the Mulligan and tickets to the premier on April 18 at the Historic Ritz Theatre are still available.

The Mulligan is the seventh movie to be filmed in Toccoa-Stephens County, according to Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen.

Paysen says the movie was originally scheduled to be filmed in 2020 but was delayed due to the start of the COVID pandemic.

The movie was filmed at the golf courses at Currahee Club and the Links at Lake Toccoa along with parts of downtown Toccoa.

Based on the popular book by Wally Armstrong and Ken Blanchard, THE MULLIGAN is an inspiring reminder that second chances are only one step away.

Paul McAllister seems to have it all, but his life starts to fall apart. Guided by the wisdom and advice of an old golf pro, Paul learns about the importance of playing a good game both on and off the course.

The Mulligan stars Eric Close, Pat Boone, and Nancy Stafford.

The Historic Ritz Theatre will screen The Mulligan on April 18, 19, and 21 at 7 p.m. and on April 23 at 11 a.m., and 7 p.m.

Tickets are $15 per person.
