10/28/13 – “Mack” – Pit Bull Mix at Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter

“Mack” was named by the staffMack after Mack trucks because he’s a big guy and full of energy.

About a year old and 80lbs, the shelter staff thinks Mack definitely has pit bull in him, but also some other large dog such as Mastiff or Sharpei.  He was turned in as a stray and so far, no one has come to claim him.  Now he is available for adoption.

Either way, this boy is large with a large amount of energy to boot.  Mack loves to play with toys and is good with other dogs and people.  He is not a dog for home with small children, only because he’s so big and energentic, but he would make a great dog for a family with lots of room for him to run and older children.  Also, NO cats.

His adoption fee is $55 and includes his neuter and a rabies vaccine.

Please consider stopping by the shelter to meet Mack or any one of the other wonderful dogs and puppies waiting for new homes.

The Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter is located on Bear Creek Road in Lavonia off SR17.  They are open Tuesday – Saturday 11a – 4p. For more information call: 706-356-5363 or email: [email protected]
