10/21/13 – “Roxie” – Young Black Lab Mix at Hart County Humane Society
Our Roxie is about a year old and has already seen more neglect than any pet should endure. Just another scarred up, skinny black dog at the shelter, no prospects for a family came before time ran out. Roxie (formerly Dora at the shelter) won the hearts of shelter staff and we got the call to rescue. Now in a loving foster home, we can tell you just how wonderful this dog is. Roxie is house trained, gets along with other animals and has a sweet spirit. Roxie knows she has been rescued and shows her appreciation with affection and obedience. She is a 50 pound lab mix and gets prettier each day.
Roxie has been spayed, micro chipped, tested negative for heartworms, received appropriate vaccinations, been treated for parasites and is on preventative. If you would like to meet this very deserving dog or want more information please call 706-436-0965 or email [email protected].
