08/05/13 – “Sugar” – Spitz Mix at Hart County Humane Society

Sometimes it’s hard to name our rescued pets, but this dog is so sweet she almost named herself. Sugar was rescued after being hit by a car and left alongside the road. We are amazed no one came to claim the dog, but she has recovered from minor injuries and is in a loving foster home.
Sugar loves to ride in cars and as you can see, boats.

Sugar loves to ride in cars and as you can see, boats.

The best part of fostering is we get to know the pets we take in and we can work to find a family that’s suits their personality. We don’t know Sugar’s story before she came to us, but the dog we have wants only to be a best friend and companion to a person who will be her best friend. Sugar loves car and boat rides, watching TV, anything you want to do she will be happy to do it with you.

Sugar is an approximately 3 year old Spitz (mix?) she has been spayed, micro chipped, tested negative for heartworms, vaccinated, treated for parasites and put on preventative. If you would like to meet sweet Sugar or want more information, please call 706-436-0965 or email [email protected]. Please consider the adoption option when adding a pet to your family.
