08/02/13 – “Axel” and “Rose” at Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter – ADOPTED!!

These two “fluffy” pups came in separately and are both in need of good new loving homes.

AxelAxel was turned in by his owners. He is an American Pit Bull but doesn’t fit the stereotype in any way, shape or form. This is a spoiled baby house dog. At 3yrs old, Axel was living the good life until a new baby took much of his owner’s time and they decided to find him another home.

As you can see, he’s a bit on the “chunky” side due to a lack of exercise, but that could change if you took him home.  He would make the perfect jogging partner with the two of you inspiring each other to get in shape.

Axel is housebroken, good with children and other dogs. He has already been neutered, which reduces his adoption fee to $45.  He is NOT a yard dog or a guard dog or a dog to tie up on a chain in the back yard (not that you should treat ANY dogs like that)…Axel is  HOUSE DOG.  And he’d love a chance to be your house dog.

Rose was found wandering as a stray several weeks ago and brought to the shelter. No one has claimed her and now she too is up for adoption.  Rose

As you can tell, Rose also needs to shed a few pounds.  Rose is a Springer Spaniel mix and is very sweet. She loves people, children, and gets along well with other dogs and cats.

She too, is housebroken and has obviously been someone’s house dog. She is housebroken and calm and walks well on a leash.

Rose was already spayed when she came to the shelter. So her adoption fee is also $45.

Please stop by the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter and meet Axel and Rose. If you’re looking for a nice dog that’s already “done,” shots, spay/neuter, house trained, etc. , either one of these great dogs would be the perfect choice.
