07/12/13 – “Ace” – American Bulldog at Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter – Adopted!

AceWhat a great dog this is. This young fellow had one owner who loved him and trained him to be a great all around family house dog.

Sadly, however, they lost their home and were forced to move in with relatives out of state and could not take Ace with them.  So he was turned over to the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter in Lavonia.

His owners had hoped to come back for him when things got better,  but they have been unable to.  After over a month in foster care, Ace now needs a new forever family.

Ace is a young adult who loves people, gets along great with other dogs, is neutered, housebroken and even does tricks.  He loves to play and ride in the car.  Show him a treat and he will go through his repertroire of tricks.

His adoption fee is $55 which includes his rabies vaccine.  The staff is looking for a person or family that knows the American Bulldog breed.  This is not a fighting dog or a yard dog.  Ace is a family dog and deserves a loving family who will appreciate his playful, loyal nature.

The shelter is located on Bear Creek Road off SR17 in Lavonia. They are open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 11a to 4p.  For more information on Ace and the other great dogs and cats available for adoption, contact them at: 706-356-5363 or email: [email protected] or visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/northeastgeorgiaanimalshelter.
