06/07/13 – 14 wk old Puppies Running Out of Time at NE Georgia Animal Shelter

The Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter is over run with lots of nice puppies of all sizes and descriptions. However, right now, they have a number of 14wk old puppies whose time is running out.

These little guys have been at  the shelter since they were tiny but now the shelter is being inundated with litters and unwanted adult dogs and they must now make the painful decision to euthanize these great pups if they can’t find homes.

Luckily, an anonymous benefactor has donated part of their adoption fee so they are being offered at a reduced adoption rate from the normal $55.

Shelter staff says these guys LOVE the water and would be great companions for anyone who loves fishing or boating, or hunting ducks.  All are very loving, smart and trainable. They are good with other dogs and cats and love children and people.

Please don’t let any of these beautiful pups be put to sleep. But contact the shelter at 706-356-5363 or stop by Tuesday through Saturday from 11a to 4p to see them…and hopefully take one home.

The shelter is located on Bear Creek Road in Lavonia about two miles off I-85.
