04/29/13 – “Louie” – Beautiful Shihtzu Boy at Hart County Humane Society

Louie must have been a beloved dog until he became lost and was hit by a car on a rural road. Fortunately a stranger stopped to pick him up and rushed him to a vet, where he was treated for a broken hip. Despite best efforts to find the owner, no one claimed him.

He is about 6 years old, has obviously been well fed, and is very friendly with people and other dogs. He is longing to be back in someone’s loving arms and a forever home.

Louie’s hip has healed and he is healthy, neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations and parasite preventives.  To meet Louie, call Margaret at 706-376-6404 or 404-983-6094.
