02/03/2014 – “Thumbelina” – Special Needs Kitten at Hart County Humane Society
Our Thumbelina was just a small kitten when she was found in a gas station parking lot last September. We noticed her tilted neck and crooked gait right away, but it would take some time to find out just how sick our kitten was.
Her illness caused severe eye infections that proved difficult to treat, we prayed she would not lose all her sight. We are proud that our kitten is now over the infections and though her eyes are scared she does have at least fair eye sight.
Thumbelina is a happy and loving adolescent kitty. She loves to snuggle on her foster moms shoulder and sleep close to her at night. Thumbelina has been spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped, treated for parasites and is on preventative.
