01/03/14 – “Imara” – Australian Shepherd Mix at NEGA Animal Shelter

Imara1Her name means, New Beginnings, and that’s exactly what Imara needs.

This beautiful and sweet Australian Shepherd mix was found as a stray, along with her puppies, in Franklin County and turned in to the shelter.   No one has come forward to claim her and now she is in need of her forever home.

Imara is about a year and half – two years old and weighs about 35 lbs.  She is a medium sized dog who is good with other dogs, ignores cats, and has a quiet and loving nature. She would make a perfect family, inside companion.

Please stop by the shelter and meet Imara.  This gentle soul needs a loving, quiet home where she can be loved, feel safe and truly have a new beginning.

Imara’s $55 adoption fee includes her spay, a vet check and rabies vaccine.

For more information on Imara, contact the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter on Bear Creek Road in Lavonia.  They are open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11a – 4p.  Call: 706-356-5363 or email: [email protected] or visit their Facebook page.
