Warrants Issued for Suspect in Lavonia Antique Market Theft

Warrants have been issued for a man believed to be the prime suspect in a theft at the Lavonia Antique Market last month.

In mid-July, Lavonia Police were alerted to a theft by employees at the antique market.

Chief Shane Edmisten said the suspect is believed to have stolen a collection of knives valued at over $500.

The surveillance camera caught a very clear image of a tall black male with short dreadlocks entering the store possibly with a white woman who was in front of him.

On Friday, police announced on their Facebook page that he has been identified as Reginal Coulter of Beaverton, Oregon.

Police said arrest warrants have been obtained and they thanked the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office for help in their investigation.
