Toccoa Fall Harvest Festival This Weekend

The traditional local fall festival season wraps up this weekend with the t45th annual Toccoa Harvest Festival in downtown Toccoa.

The festival will take place from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday and 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sunday.

Mainstreet Toccoa Events Coordinator Sharon Crosby said more than 150 craft and food vendors will be on hand and all crafts will be homemade, home-baked, or home-grown.

Food trucks and food booths will provide a wide range of mouth-watering treats including homemade cakes and fried pies, funnel cakes, peanuts, Asian, Greek, and Cajun style entrees, Bar-B-Q, and classic American favorites as well.

A classic car show on Saturday, as well as children’s activities and rides on both days, will ensure that there is something for everyone.

Additionally, the Currahee Artist Guild will also have a sidewalk art show and sale as part of the festival where people can purchase original works from local artists.

And Crosby said there will be continuous live entertainment on two stages on both days.

And downtown shops and restaurants will also be open including the Antique Market, boutiques, the Historical Society Museum, and the Currahee Military Museum.

Again, Toccoa’s Harvest Festival takes place this weekend in downtown Toccoa.
