Tickets On Sale for Two Lavonia Productions

Tickets are now on sale for two upcoming performances at the Lavonia Cultural Center.

The first is a play put on the Franklin Community Players entitled, “Disney’s Tarzan: The Musical,” which will run April 25th through the 28th.

“Tarzan: the Musical” tells the story of an infant boy orphaned on the shores of West Africa.

Taken in and raised by a tribe of gorillas, the young boy strives for acceptance by his ape father while grappling with his uniqueness.

When a human expedition enters their territory, Tarzan encounters strangers like himself for the first time.

Tickets for “Tarzan the Musical” are $8 – $12.

And tickets are now on sale for this year’s Land of Spirit play.

Entitled, “Under the Magnolia,” the play runs every weekend in June.

Based in 1864, “Under the Magnolia”  is about two brothers, one battle, and a long journey home.

The play is based on historical records and is being brought to the stage by the creative team of last year’s Front Porch Stories.

Tickets for the Land of Spirit play are $10 – $14.

Tickets for both productions are available online at www.showtix4u.com.
