Renee: 10-mo Old Shepherd Mix Would Be a Great Addition to Any Family

A code red alert was posted from Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter, the shelter was over capacity.

Twenty-five dogs needed out asap or drastic decisions would have to be made. Our community came together to save 25 lives that weekend and Renee is one of them.

She’s now in foster care with the Hart County Humane Society, a non-profit rescue group dedicated to saving surrendered or stray animals from the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter in Lavonia.

Renee is lucky to be safe in a loving, committed foster home while she waits for her forever family.

She is a very affectionate 10-month-old, 45-pound Shepherd mix pup who has already been through a lot in her short life.

Still, her affectionate personality comes shining through.

Renee loves to give kisses, is house and crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. Renee is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, up to date with vaccines, and treated for parasites.

Renee gets along great with other dogs, cats, and children. So she would make a wonderful companion for a family, couple, or individual.

It truly takes an army of advocates to save the lives of shelter animals and thanks to a passionate supporter part of Renee’s adoption fee is sponsored for an approved adopter.

If you think Renee is the right fit for you or your family, please fill out an application at harthumane.org, email [email protected], or call/text 706-436-0965.
