NVR, Inc. in Lavonia Planning Another Round of Hiring

NVR, Inc. the parent company of Ryan Homes, has concluded its first round of hiring and expects to hold several more hiring events in the coming weeks.

NVR recently announced it is moving into the old Bosal facility off Ross Place in Lavonia.

The Franklin County Industrial Building Authority has been working with NVR for over a year to help them secure a location.

At the IBA meeting this week, Executive Director Tonya Powers said NVR executives told her they were very impressed with the candidates who applied for jobs in the first round of hiring.

Powers said NVR plans to hire about 150 people.

At their new facility, NVR, Inc. will be building trusses specifically for Ryan Homes.

The pay rate for this position starts at $22.00, and increases based on experience
Qualifications

No experience is required, but higher starting wages are possible for those with framing, millwork, trim, and other related construction experience and skills
