Mr. Melvin Luther Propes, 69, of Hartwell, Georgia, died on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at his home.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 2pm, at the River of Life Church.  The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6-9pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.  At other times, the family will be at the home.  On-line condolences may also be sent to the family by visiting www.stricklandfh.com.  Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
