Local Attorney Pat Milford Passes Away
Pat Milford passed away at his home Wednesday
A longtime prominent attorney in Carnesville has died.
Pat Milford passed away Wednesday at his home on Cross Roads Lane.
Milford lived most of his life in Franklin County where he was born and graduated with honors from Franklin County High School.
After receiving his law degree from the University of Georgia Law School, Milford passed the bar in 1959 and set up practice in downtown Carnesville.
In 1989, his son Richard joined the firm.
As a member of the Georgia Bar Association and the Northern Circuit Bar Association, he served on the Board of Governors for the Georgia State Bar, Post 1 of the Northern Judicial Circuit, 2011.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3p from Allens United Methodist Church in Carnesville.
Visitation will be held Saturday at Ginn Funeral Home in Carnesville from 2p-4p and from 6p-8p.
Pat Milford was 80 years old.
