Liqui Moly Triple Crown Pro Watercross Coming to Lavonia This Weekend

The final leg of the 2024 Liqui Moly Triple Crown Pro Watercross Tour is this weekend at the Tugaloo Mega Ramp at Tugaloo State Park in Lavonia.

The Pro Watercross Tour travels  the USA to some of the most beautiful beach and parks in the country.

The Lavonia event is the last leg of the Liqui Moly Pro Watercross Tour.

Selected classes will compete in three motos throughout the day, and the rider with the lowest sum of finishing positions will be awarded a higher ranking.

Tugaloo State Park’s six-lane mega ramp has made the park a popular site for large fishing tournaments, as well as recreational boating, and the ample parking and easy launch access also make it a perfect site for watercross racing.

Spectators can watch the event from the hillside at the Mega Ramp. There will be a $5 parking fee to get into the park.

Registration for competitors begins today from 2p to 5p and again Saturday morning from 7a to 8:15a with competition starting immediately after practice runs which start at 9:15a.

Then from 11a to 4p are the Pro Am races featuring all 3 motos on Saturday.

Amateur Classes will run 1 moto on Saturday in between Pro-Am classes.

That will be followed by 30 minutes of post racing and the Pro-Am Award Ceremony.

On Sunday, events run from 7a to 8:15 a with Amateur Racing beginning at 8:45 am followed by Moto 2 and Moto 3.

Then 30 minutes post racing – and the Amateur Award Ceremony.

First Moto pole positions will be determined by a ball draw at staging prior to moto 1.

Second & Third Moto pole positions is determined by class moto 1 & 2 finish.

This is the 29th annual Pro Watercross National Championship tour.
