Lavonia Ushers in Christmas Season with Tree Lighting Tonight

A reminder the City of Lavonia will hold its Winter Wonderland Christmas and tree lighting event this evening, from 5p to 7p at the Gazebo downtown.

Main St. Director Ashley Rose Dodd says tonight promises to be a fun evening for the whole family.

Additionally, the Motor Carrier Compliance Division will also be there tonight with a box where you can drop off new toys for this year’s Toys for Tots drive.

Also, local downtown shops and restaurants will stay open later for people to get in some Christmas shopping or have dinner.

Again, tonight’s WinterWonderland Christmas and tree lighting takes place from 5p to 7p in downtown Lavonia.
