Gillsville Man Dies in Banks County Wreck
In Banks County, a Gillsville man is dead from injuries suffered in a single-car wreck Sunday.
According to a report on Access North Georgia, it happened just after midnight Sundaymorning.
The Georgia State Patrol Gainesville Office said 22-year old Benjamin E Lenderman was driving north on Henderson Road in Banks County when his car left the road and struck a tree head on.
Even though Lenderman was wearing his seatbelt and his airbag deployed, troopers say he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are not sure if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
