Franklin County Schools Invites Public to Community Input Meetings

The Franklin County Charter School System is inviting parents and citizens to one of a series of community input meetings as they work to shape their 2030 Vision for the school system.

The School System has held a long-standing commitment to strategic planning and is committed to seeking input from staff members, students, parents/guardians, community members, and business partners while keeping in mind all students as its primary focus.

Every five years the Franklin County School System crafts a Strategic Plan with priorities and guiding principles to help us navigate the next 5 years.

The FCSS Strategic Plan is evaluated and updated annually based on data and progress.

The 2020-2025 Strategic Plan expires at the end of the 2024-2025 School Year.

So they are encouraging all staff, parents, community members, and business partners to attend one of the meetings listed below and share your vision for Franklin County Schools.

The series of meetings will be held beginning Monday, September 9 at Carnesville Elementary School.

Future meetings will be held Monday, September 16 at Lavonia Elementary School, Thursday, September 19 at South Franklin/Royston Elementary School, Monday, September 23 at Franklin County High School and Tuesday October 22 at Franklin County Middle School.

All meetings will be held from 6p to 7:30p and will begin in the school cafeteria.
