Franklin County Schools Hold Open Houses Today and Wednesday

As Franklin County Schools get closer to opening day this Friday, they are holding open houses today and tomorrow at each school.

The open houses are an opportunity for students and parents to meet their new teacher and tour their new classroom, as well as ask any questions they may have.

The Middle School and High School will be holding their respective open house today from 3p to 7p and on Wednesday, all elementary schools will hold open house from 3p to 6p.

At the high school, doors open at 3p and students will be able to check out clubs and other extracurricular activities, pick up their chrome books, buy a student parking pass, check school bus routes, and more.

At 5p, entering 9th-grade students will have student orientation in the auditorium while their parents will have orientation in the Media Room.

This is also a time for students who learn more about dual enrollment or work-based learning. That session takes place in Room 502.

Then at 6p, there will be a meeting in the Media Room for Advance Placement students.

The first day of class for all Franklin County students is this Friday, August 2.

Any parent or caregiver with questions or needing more information can contact the school your child is enrolled in.

There is also a host of valuable new school year information for students and parents on the Franklin County Schools Facebook page.
