Emmanuel University Announces Spring Graduation Plans

Emmanuel University is holding its Spring 2024 graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 4th at 10:30 AM in the John W. Swails Center.

Approximately 130 graduates will be receiving their degrees.

The ceremony will be live-streamed on the University’s YouTube page.

Last week, the school announced Greg Beadles, President of the Atlanta Falcons will serve as this year’s Commencement Speaker.

Beadles began his career with the Falcons as an intern after earning a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree from Georgia State University.

Last year was his 29th year with the club, and he was named the team’s president.

During his time with the Falcons Beadles has held multiple roles with the team and AMB Sports and Entertainment, including serving as part of the finance team that orchestrated the transfer of ownership of the Falcons from the Rankin Smith family to Arthur M. Blank in 2001.

Outside of his professional roles, Beadles is a board member of the College Football Hall of Fame; and is co-founding board chair of both the Oak Hill Classical School in Dacula, Ga., and the Arete Scholars Fund, a non-profit that has awarded academic scholarships to 15,000 low-income children since 2010.

Beadles, his wife Jill, and their children (Ella, Grant, Evie, and Hudson) reside in metro Atlanta.
