Four years ago, I served as a Hart County Commissioner and was asked to attend a meet and greet for a district attorney candidate.

“I admit I didn’t know what to expect but went anyway. That night I met Parks White and knew quickly he was qualified and had a passion for the job. We spoke briefly but I recognized he had what it took to lead. He went on to be District Attorney and I later became the Mayor of Hartwell.

We’ve crossed paths both professionally and personally many times in the past four years. Parks has not changed since our first meeting. He remains dedicated to the victims he represents and has made good on his promises. Parks is strong on repeat offenders and does everything he can to make our community safe.

Crime in the City of Hartwell is steadily trending down because of his efforts and the training that has been given to our police department. Hartwell is a more safe place in large part due to his office and statistics prove it.

Parks White and his team are not perfect but he’s done exactly what he said he would do. As a citizen that’s all I can ask for out of a leader. He has four years of proven success and in my opinion has earned another four years as District Attorney.”
