Corps of Engineers Announce Opening of Campgrounds

Another sign spring is in the air.

On Friday, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District announced the opening for the summer season of a number of campgrounds on Hartwell Lake.

They include:

–Springfield Campground, in Anderson County, S.C.will be open from April 1 – Oct. 31.

 – Twin Lakes Campground, in Pickens County, S.C. all sites are open from April 1 – Nov. 30; and from Dec. 1 – March 31, 2015 sites 25-58 will be open.

And Watsadler Campground, in Hartwell will be open from April 1 – Nov. 30; and from Dec. 1 – March 31 sites 2-23 will be open.
