Mrs. Carrie Ellen Dooley Shiflet, 88, of Hartwell, Ga. died Saturday November 16, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, S.C. Funeral Services will be Monday November 18, 2013 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1 pm to 2 pm. The family is at the home of Beth Shiflet Hartwell. Flowers optional, memorial may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church Building Fund Hartwell, Ga. Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
