Beauty and the Beast Comes to Lavonia

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 10th at 10 a.m. at the Lavonia Cultural Center for the December production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

The Franklin Community High School Spotlight Players are producing the full-scale musical for four performances only, December 13 through 15 at the Telford Center for the Fine and Performing Arts at Franklin County High School.

The production is sponsored by the Franklin Community Players.

Based on the Academy-Award winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.

The “tale as old as time” combines captivating costumes, spectacular sets and dazzling special effect to create the largest and most extravagant production in Spotlight Players history.

It features both student and adult actors.

Ticket prices range from $12 to $18 for adults and $8 to $15 for students.  Prices vary depending upon seating preferences.

A backstage tour led by designers from the production and a dessert reception with the cast following the performance is available for an additional $5.00 to any category ticket.
