Suspect Sought in Theft of Donated Items at Lavonia Habitat Thrift Store

The Franklin County Habitat for Humanity is asking for the public’s help to identify a woman captured on surveillance video, taking donated items from in front of their thrift store on Augusta Road in Lavonia.

Surveillance photos show a white woman with shoulder-length blond hair exiting a dark gray pickup truck in the thrift store parking lot at around 2 am Wednesday morning and taking items from the sidewalk in front of the store.

Items donated to the thrift store are sold to raise money to build homes for families.
