Hart Chamber of Commerce Announces Interim Director

A changing of the guard at the Hart County Chamber of Commerce.

On Wednesday, the Chamber Board announced that after serving for 15 months as the Chamber’s Executive Director Lindsey Ingle has left her position effective Tuesday.

Wyndee McKinnon Chair of the Hart County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors said in a press release issued Wednesday that Chamber Executive Assistant Amanda Brown has been named Interim Executive Director.

Brown joined the Chamber in October 2022 as Administrative Assistant and was
promoted to Executive Assistant in May 2023.

Previously, she worked as a Senior Tax Specialist at H&R Block, and as an Associate Partner at Vickery’s Hardware and Garden, as well as a US postal carrier.

Brown is a member of the Hart County Board of Tax Assessors and served as its chair from January 2022 until January 2024.

Ms. Brown replaces Lindsey Ingle, who was Executive Director for 15 months.

McKinnon said the Chamber Board appreciates Ingle’s service during her time as Executive Director and wish her well.
