GBI Arrests Bowersville Man in Connection with Jackson County Incident

A Bowersville man has been arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on charges of Aggravated Assault and Battery.

According to GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles, agents arrested and charged former Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Jailer Ronnie Banks, age 52, of Bowersville.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office requested the GBI to investigate an assault following a domestic incident that occurred at a home in Pendergrass, GA on April 29, 2024.

Banks was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Jackson County Jail.
