Former Hart County HS Employee Indicted by Grand Jury

A former Hart County High School employee has been indicted by the Hart County Grand Jury on four counts related to sexual contact with a minor on campus.

In April, a GBI investigation into a child/molestation incident at the high school led to the arrest of 27-year-old Keenan Anderson of Bowersville.

Last week, the Grand Jury indicted Anderson on one count of felony Sexual Contact by an Employee or Agent in the First Degree, one count of Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony, one count of Sexual contact by an Employee or Agent in the First Degree, and one count of felony Influencing a Witness.

The indictment alleges that in late January, Anderson sent a lewd photo to a female student at the high school.

According to the indictment in February, Anderson allegedly asked the student to engage in sex with him on school grounds and then in April, sent the same student more lewd photos of himself.

The fourth count in the indictment alleges Anderson asked another female student, who was a witness, to instruct a third female student to lie to the GBI agents about his alleged activities.

Anderson is currently booked at the Hart County Jail and has resigned from the school.
