Advance Voting Begins Today for May 21 Primary/General Election

Early voting for the May 21 Primary and General Elections begins today and runs through May 17.

Franklin County Election Supervisor Tracie Creason said there will also be two Saturday early voting days.

“There are two Saturday voting days on Saturday, May 4th, and Saturday, May 11th. Voting hours are 8a to 5p every day,” she said.

In Franklin County, voters go to the Board of Elections office on the Royston Highway in Carnesville to cast their early ballots.

Voters in Franklin County have eight contested races to decide on in addition to 8 questions.

Additionally, Republican Party voters in Franklin County have eight State Republican Party questions to decide. And Democrat Party voters also have eight State Democratic Party questions to decide.
