Hart County High School Presents Celtic Christmas Spectacular with Steel City Rovers
The festive spirit is set to sweep through Hart County as the Hart County High School Music Department gears up to present “A Celtic Christmas Spectacular” on December 8, 2023, at 7 p.m.
The collaborative effort brings together the talents of the HCHS Band and Chorus with the acclaimed Steel City Rovers for a night of enchanting performances at the HCHS Fine Arts Center.
In the true spirit of the season, attendees are encouraged to share the joy by bringing unopened children’s gifts and non-perishable food items for donation.
“We’re thrilled about the collaboration with the High School Chorus and The Steel City Rovers,” said Alan Tolbert, Hart County High School Band Director. “This will be a spectacular performance and an opportunity for the community to see some amazing performers at a fraction of the cost that it should be. The educational opportunity for our students working and performing with the Rovers will be great.”
Hart County High School Chorus Director Josh Bryan shared his excitement, stating, “We’re very excited to be working with the Steel City Rovers, as well as the high school band for this production. Having the Rovers collaborate with our students furthers our opportunities to work together and to bring an authentic Celtic experience for our students.”
Tickets for the Celtic Christmas Spectacular are available for $10 in advance online at www.hartcountyband.com. For those who prefer purchasing at the door, tickets will be priced at $15.
The Steel City Rovers, known for their dynamic and expressive music, blend traditional Celtic tunes with North American styles like bluegrass, folk, and roots. Their original compositions cover themes of love, loss, celebration, and heritage, breathing life into historical instrumental melodies. With powerful vocals and engaging entertainment, the Rovers perform on meticulously crafted replicas of historical instruments, making for a truly unique musical experience.
