Hartwell, Bowersville Voters Deciding City Council Races

In Hart County, voters in Hartwell and Bowersville are deciding on city council and mayoral races.

In Bowersville, the only contested race is for City Council Post 4 seat between Donna Burney and Joyce Rumsey.

Alicia Barnett is running unopposed for City Council Post 1 and John B. Smith is running unopposed for Mayor.

In Hartwell, two City Council seats are contested.

Four candidates are vying for the City Council seat to succeed Stephen Ayers.

They include Debbie Henry, Christopher Martin, Richard Shellter, and Toy Cynthia Wilkins.

Three candidates are hoping to win the City Council seat being vacated by Tony Haynie.

They include: Zach Adams, David Little, and Jermaine Durham

Incumbent Mike McNabb is running unopposed.
