Mrs. Polly Vanna Bowers, 89, of Hartwell, Ga. passed away Monday November 25, 2013 in Boone, N.C. Funeral services will be Friday November 29, 2013 at 2 pm in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12 am to 2 p.  The family is at the home of Amelia Thompson Hartwell.
