Sign Up Ends This Week for 2nd Annual Lavonia Carnegie Library Color Crawl

The Friends of the Lavonia-Carnegie Library are hosting their 2nd Annual Carnegie Color Crawl on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at noon.

However, registration ends this week.

April is CDH Awareness Month, and CDH, or Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.

Branch Manager of the Franklin Co. Libraries Maggie West says half of the money raised will go to CDH research.

West said everyone is welcome to participate in the run which goes from the Library to the VFW and back.

Last year the first annual Color Run raised $1,800.

The library’s share of the money went to fund the summer reading program and buy new books for the library.

West the donation to sign up varies.

$30–to run
$50–to sponsor and get your name or business name on the shirt
$75–to sponsor and run, with your name or business name on the shirt

Registration ends on Friday, March 8th at 5:00 P.M.
