Heart2Hart, a non-profit group in Hart County, is still collecting gifts for children in need this Christmas.

Founder and Coordinator Letha Pettys says they working to collect toys and other gifts for some 100 children.

Some of the children Pettys said are covered but they still have many that need gifts, most of them are teenagers, which are typically overlooked by charities this time of year.

Pettys said monetary donations are accepted and donation boxes are at a number of locations around Hartwell where people can drop off toys and gift cards.

Heart2Hart is a 501c3 charity and all donations are tax deductible.

Pettys said no operating costs or salaries are paid for out of the funds donated.
