02/04/13 – “Porter” – Terrier Mix at Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter
Porter is a young adult terrier mix who was turned in to the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter in Lavonia as an owner give up.
This is a great little dog, about 17lbs, who is already neutered. That means his adoption fee is just $40, which includes his rabies vaccine.
He loves people, especially children, as well as other dogs and gets along well with cats.
Porter would make a great family dog. He’s not too big and not too small, so he would be a great dog for someone looking for a nice indoor family pet.

Take I-85 north to the Lavonia exit 173 at Hwy. 17, go right, travel approximately 1.5 miles through town, turn right at the Northeast Georgia Bank on to Bear Creek Road. The Shelter is approximately 1 mile on the right. The hours of operation are from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday through Saturday.
