Water Main Break Closes Franklin County Middle School Today for In-person Learning
Due to a water main break, Franklin County Middle School will have NO water on today.
So, School Superintendent Melanie Burton-Brown has announced the school building is closed today for in-person learning while repairs are being made.
Both teachers and students are working from home today. Teachers sent home assignments on Tuesday for students to complete and return on Thursday.
Middle School competitions scheduled for today will continue as planned. Coaches will communicate meeting times and locations with players. Coaches, without competitions, will communicate practice schedules with teams.
The repairs are expected to be completed today.
Burton-Brown said in-person classes will resume on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
