Volunteer Work Day for Hart Habitat Build Pushed to Wednesday

If you are a volunteer planning to help today with the construction of Hart County Habitat for Humanity’s 21st house, work has been pushed back to Wednesday.

The three-bedroom house on Savannah St. is being built for Yolanda Feaster, who is wheelchair-bound, her daughter, and grandchild.

On Wednesday, volunteers will work toward completing the framework of the home, and painting the foundation is also expected to begin.

Then on Friday, the Hart County High School Skills USA class will be assisting a clean-out project at the Hart Habitat Reclaim Market at 900 Benson St from 11:30 – 2:30.

Volunteers are also welcomed to help with the project.

If you would like to help with the work or provide lunch for the workers at Feaster house build or at the Reclaim Market, you can call Hart Habitat at 706-436-0741.
