Tugaloo: Young Mixed Breed Dog, Loves People, Other Dogs, Looking for New Family to Love

Tugaloo is so named because he was found as a stray at Tugaloo State Park.

He was turned in to the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter two months ago and no one has claimed him.

Tugaloo is a young adult bull terrier mix who loves people, children, and gets along well with other dogs.

“He does so well with other dogs we have him kenneled with two six-month old puppies that he just loves,” said shelter director Tammi Jourdenais.

Jourdenais said he would make a great family dog.

“He loves people and especially children. We have tested him with children and he’s just very loving and friendly with them,” she said.

Tugaloo is house trained and came to the shelter already neutered.  He is current on his shots and is dewormed.

His adoption fee is $50.

If you would like to meet a dog who would make a great addition to your family, stop by the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter on Bear Creek Rd. in Lavonia Saturdays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11a to 4p.

Or call them for more information on other dogs and cats they have available for adoption at 706-356-5363.
