The Georgia General Assembly recently launched its new public website

The Georgia General Assembly recently launched its new public website.

The new Website went live on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020 and is part of the state legislature’s multi-year software project to modernize its Legislative Management System.

House Speaker David Ralston said the new public website is the first phase of updating this legislative technology package.

The web site, at www.legis.ga.gov, now has a mobile-first responsive design for phones and tablets and contains a new streamlined menu structure for easy navigation.

It also provides quick access to House and Senate meeting schedules, committee meetings and important legislative documents, such as Rules Committee bill calendars and daily voting composites.

Additionally, the site includes updated search functions to find legislation and individual legislators, and a new “Chamber News and Events” section to increase awareness of House and Senate events at the Capitol and across the state.
