Skittles – Little Orphan Kitten, Severely Injured, Now Ready for New Loving Home

This was Skittles the day she was found

This is Skittles today, healthy and ready for her new home.

A good Samaritan found a critically injured, young orphan in the middle of a busy highway.

“It came to us suffering with severe head trauma and massive injuries throughout her little body. We didn’t have much hope she would survive but look at our baby now,” said Hart County Humane Society President Donna Madkiff.

It takes a mighty army to rescue sick animals. We are beyond grateful for our dedicated supporters, Dr. Jaime Terry, Dr. Keri Bunn, and the dedicated staff at Lake Hartwell Veterinary Clinic for rallying together to save this baby’s life.

Skittles is a 16-week-old female gray and white domestic shorthair kitten, now available to an inside only home where she will not be declawed.

Skittles is a healthy and affectionate kitty; she will be an amazing companion to anyone willing to give her lifetime of love.

She is spayed, microchipped, Feline Leukemia and FIV negative, appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites.
