And a reminder that the Hart County Health Department will hold a flu clinic today at the Hart County Health Department from 8:30 am-3:00 pm.

The Health Department is located at 64 Reynolds Street in Hartwell.

Those receiving vaccines will be served refreshments and will be entered to win one of many gift baskets.

The high-dose vaccine, which is also a quadrivalent vaccine, will be available for persons 65 and older.

Both the flu and COVID vaccines are free to anyone who has Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurances.

If you are self-pay, the flu shot is $30.
