North Georgia Tech Program Preview Set for November in Clarkesville

Potential North Georgia Technical College students and their parents are invited to attend the second annual Program Preview next month on the Clarkesville campus.

The Program Preview takes place November 4, 2019, from 4 pm to 7 pm, in the Industrial Technology Center on the Clarkesville campus.

A similar program preview took place in June on the Currahee campus.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for interested students and parents to visit campus and meet the instructors to find out if NGTC is a good match for the student’s career interests and goals,” said Amy Hulsey, VP of Community and College Relations. “We will have representatives from all areas of the college present to answer questions and make the event a ‘one-stop-shop’ for families to drop in and receive the information they need to potentially enroll.”

Amy Hulsey, VP of Community and College Relations said the drop-in event is an opportunity for prospective students to learn more about the many programs offered at North Georgia Tech.

“The drop-in event features live, hands-on program demonstrations by NGTC faculty for prospective students and the community to enjoy,” Hulsey said. “This year’s participating programs are advanced manufacturing, agriculture, automotive collision, automotive technology, business management, business technology, commercial truck driving, CNC, cosmetology, criminal justice, culinary, early childhood education, EMT & paramedicine, HVAC, medical assisting, pharmacy technology, photography, practical nursing, registered nursing and welding.”

Hulsey said the $25 application fee will be waived for anyone who decides to enroll at the Program Preview.

This year, she says there will be a wide variety of programs for students to inquire about.
