NGTC Extends Online Instruction to End of Semester

North Georgia Technical College announces that exclusive online instruction will be extended until the end of Spring Semester 2020, in accordance to the Executive Order announced by Governor Brian Kemp yesterday.

The Executive Order also notes that limited exceptions of in-person instruction at colleges may be allowed, and NGTC is currently working to apply for the exceptions for students needing lab hours.

“Modifications for the number of people gathered at a time in a lab is obviously one of the major hurdles we are trying to work through with the state,” said Vice President of College and Community Relations Amy Hulsey.

“As soon as we have details regarding how this will work in each of our labs, our instructors will communicate that information with our students. We, again, thank all of our students for their patience as we work through numerous scenarios and make decisions that keep the student’s best interest, academic success and well being as our top priorities.”

More updated information will be posted on the college Facebook page and website.
