Mark Wayne Smith, age 57, of Lavonia, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens. The memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Josh Harvill officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Mark will be cremated in accordance with his request.
