Maggie: Beautiful Great Pyr Now Ready for Loving Forever Home

Maggie is an amazing three-year-old Great Pyrenees that was brought into the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter and taken into foster care by the Hart County Humane Society.

Severely matted and underweight it’s obvious the sweet dog had birthed way too many litters. If that neglect wasn’t enough, our sweet Maggie suffered with heartworms and broken teeth.

Maggie knows she was rescued from a sad existence. She is eager to please and show her appreciation. She is house and crate trained, gets along with other dogs, and doesn’t mind house cats. Maggie loves people of all ages.

Maggie has recovered from her heartworm treatment and is ready for her forever family.

This is not a working farm dog.

After all she has been through in her sweet short life, we will only let her go to a family where she will be an inside companion dog and family member.

Maggie has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for parasites.

We are still paying off the vet bills for Maggie’s extensive medical treatments to get her healthy. Donations to help with Maggie’s medical care are desperately needed and greatly appreciated. Applications to adopt can be found at harthumane.org.

The Hart County Humane Society is a volunteer rescue organization. We receive no funding from any government agencies or other groups. We are a 501C3 non-profit organization.

Donations are always needed to fund our foster/rescue and spay/neuter programs.

Donations can be mailed to P.O. BOX 1062 Hartwell Georgia 30643 or be made online through PayPal at harthumane.org. Please help us help the animals in our community.
